Being from a ranching area in Wyoming, I knew I would need to leave town for the summer to earn the money I needed for college, so I decided to register with RM Jobs to see my placement options.
I received a phone call the next day and after answering some questions I found out I was qualified for a sales program through RM Jobs and could expect to make around $250 per day. The placement specialist I had spoken with called me again the next day with an official job offer and laid out all the details. I felt good about the opportunity and made a commitment to work in Florida. The airfare was paid for by the company and my rent expenses were reimbursed.
It was not easy work but the momentum I had built from my mission helped me to keep up with some of the top performers. After a couple of weeks, I developed the skills that were necessary to consistently make sales and the job started to become really fun. After I fulfilled my contract I was offered a raise and given a new assignment to work the next summer in Arizona.
My second summer started out great but then my mother had a serious accident. I informed my manager and was encouraged to leave my job and be with my family, and I was with my family for about 3 weeks. I'm glad that the company I was assigned to work for was so understanding of my situation. The affiliated companies within this network truly value the endorsement they receive from RM Jobs and are unwilling to put it on the line by taking advantage of you. Because my experience has been so good, I would recommend the placement services that RM Jobs provides to any college student that is looking for a way to pay for school.
